There's an e-mail going around my area telling us to stop buying gas at Exxon and Shell (the top 2 gas companies) and that would force the prices to go down, at least by those 2 companies not selling gas. The govt fines/presses charges against stores for taking advantage of people by overcharging for ice melt, kerosene, etc, during bad weather, why aren't they doing the same for these gas companies overcharging us? could it be cause most of the politicians are investors or stock holders and love the billions in profits these guys are making?
