In Reply to: How do I tell the kids about Grandad? - PitBull

We went through this awhile back and I left it up to my kids (18 and 21 at the time) if they wanted to see grandma in the hospital because her appearance and her personality had changed so drastically and I didn't want that to be their last memory of her.  Trust your kids' instinct if they don't want to see gpa but maybe take pictures or notes to him from them if they are afraid to see him.

sorry about my signoff--I didn't realize it was on there from a previous post.
How do I tell the kids about Grandad?

We are going to see him at the hospital tonight, how do I tell them he has 2 weeks to 2 months to live?

Or should I tell them at all and just let them visit with him as normal?

The are 12 and 14.
