I wish I had a nanny cam or something like that.
I've been cracking myself up all day when I think about him opening his lunchbox and finding that thing!
Their nanny....
I think the best person would be their nanny. she has cared for them all along and they have a relationship with her. I had heard speculation that Michael had indicated he would put this in his will but don't know if he did so or not.
Nanny 911 would say he is angry about some injustice once
she ruled out hypoglycemia. Is there competition or jealousy. Do you subtly favor the 11 yr old or does anyone else and make it obvious? Fairness between siblings is so important - it levels the playing field. Take him out alone and have a talk with him. Ask him what is upsetting him so much. Tell him it is important that he tell you because it can be fixed.
Well, if ya can't afford a nanny, don't be looking into time shares!
I am just shocked that people actually set out to do this with no intention or interest whatsoever for a measly 50.00 or tickets to SeaWorld! Guess desperate times call for desperate measures? Yikes.
I try to keep $50 stuck in there.......sm
that I don't even have in my check register. That little bit extra has saved me more than once.

It would really stink to have to pay that fee for a penny. Good luck with this!
stuck in UK MSN
I have noticed once in awhile I will be on the MSN page and then not be able to go anywhere else.  The search won't work and if I type an address in the address bar and hit enter, a note comes up saying that page is not available.  I just noticed it says UK MSN.  No idea how I got to that, but that must be what happens once in awhile.  Anyone have any info on this or have that happen?
cup stuck in the disposal
Can anyone tell me how to get a plastic juice glass out of a disposal in the sink.  It is at the top right by the opening?  Please help.
Remember, you are stuck out there for
who knows how long. Don't know if I would like that.
stuck garbage disposal
Never mind, we were able to crack the glass and then get it out.
I'm with you, Hay, but I'm stuck in the days of disco! Think I
s
next time you wake up, tell him you stuck
a pickle up his while he was sleeping and he should go get it removed.
That is exactly where I was getting stuck. Great minds think alike! :)
Congratulations!!
I'm stuck in a permanent time warp...

Ssss-Aaaa-Ffff-Eeee-Tttt-Yyyy....dance.....and everything else from that ambiguously androgynous era.

I miss Hayseed and her WebHamCam is stuck

Yes, I stuck to it and lost 30 pounds in 3 months (sm)
You may have increased your salt intake this week and be retaining water? (lots of Weight Watchers dishes are high in sodium)or could you have PMS retention? Also if you started exercising a lot and are building some muscle, you could have lost fat and replaced the fat weight with muscle weight - which is great since muscle is much more compact and burns more calories. A great free website that you might like is 3fatchicks on a diet...not sure of the exact web address but it is very popular and if you Google it you should be able to find it. Don't give up!! I need to go back on it actually!! I have been off the wagon (or is it on the wagon? lol) for a while now. Good luck!!
I had a report with a baseball stuck in a man's rectum -
when the nurses asked him why a baseball, he responded that his wife was not home and it seemed like a good idea at the time!!!
Oh, lighten up, SLC stuck in my mind as a nice place
because instead of it smelling like a garbage pile, it was the sweetest smelling place and I thought would just let someone know about it. With all that I have been thinking about regarding my aunt having to go to an assisted living or elsewhere, SLC was just a pleasant thought instead of a downer.
Why I stuck with MT after midlife crisis college degree
Lot of reasons, actually, not the least of which was that I was making some seriously good money as a medical biller at the time--and I hadn't burnt out yet. (I was also doing the transcription for 2 practices locally.) I also had an insane stubborn loyalty to my boss, and didn't want to leave him in the lurch. I got out of billing 2 years ago (well past burnout by then) and came home full time, still doing the transcription for the practice and one other, and still making good money at it.

But one reason I went back to school in the first place was because my boss had been making noises about quitting practice at some point, and he was so good (and I had him so very well-trained) I really couldn't see starting over again with another doctor who might not be so trainable. Not only that, the man is 11 years older than I, and it stood to reason he would retire before I would be ready to, so I would lose him eventually.

Last fall he closed his practice, actually going to work for another practice as an employee, not retiring quite yet, but despite his practically standing on his head on my behalf, the other practice didn't want to hire me. (Their loss.) That was when I had to find my first job with a national. Oh, joy. Welcome to the real world.

But I'll tell you what. There are some positive trade-offs. I don't have kids to stay home with... but I really, REALLY appreciate the mere 15-foot commute (I have a 4-1/2 year old car with still under 30k miles on it), the work wardrobe (pajamas), and best of all, the lack of B.S. and office politics. I get all the human contact I need between church and some other activities I participate in--places I choose to go and people I choose to see, rather than having people I don't get along with forced on me, as in the workplace. (Actually, I got along fine with them. They didn't get along with me. I just wanted them to not make my job harder. Was that too much to ask? Guess so. The last week I worked in the office, I had a sign on my wall that said "Others do not play well with me.")

The money in medical billing was nice, but it was costing me far too much. Meanwhile, I've used some of my info tech skills with a few freelance jobs for friends (website design, database design) but I have discovered that I really, really do NOT want to be responsible for maintaining somebody else's systems.... I also figured out really quickly after my business management classes (and being billing department head) that I am NOT cut out to be a manager. Trouble with management is that you have to . . . manage people. It's like herding cats. No, thank you.

So I haven't completely ruled out doing something else with my life, if I ever figure out what I want to be when I grow up... but for now, despite the massive pay cut I have taken, I am willing to hang in there as an MT because of the positive trade-offs I mentioned above. Plus... I've been doing this for 37 years, and I'm bloody good at it, if I do say so myself. :)

Does that answer the question? Anything else I can expound upon for the hopeful enlightenment of all?

Disclaimer: This has been MY chosen route, and for right now, it's right for ME. Others' mileage may vary. :)
You're so funny!!! That's what I wanted - funny redneck stories
Just kinda tired of my house looking like Sanford and Son - LOL!
That is too funny... I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time.

Funny looking Bob with the funny looking wife

Thats funny!! Thanx

too funny !!!

It's funny that you say this...
about "sounding rude". I wonder how much time your in laws and family members actually put into their decision before asking you to care for their mother? I wonder if it has even occurred to them that they are being rude to even consider asking this of you when there are professionals who can do this and should do this for their mother?

Believe me, you have no idea how much of yourself you actually lose when thrown into a situation that's convenient for everyone else. Believe me, everyone else has figured out how to say "no" by passing the responsibility on to you so that they can continue their lives without being inconvenienced.

However, you're right in being polite; however, you can still say "no" and not be rude. Don't feel guilty either for not playing the martyr.

This is so funny!!! LOL!!

I have an 18-year-old son who LOVES to be on the computer doing the instant message thing.  He knows all the lingo, codes, blah blah blah.  Well, he is not used to the Short Hand being on on my computer, but sometimes he uses my computer when I am not working.  Can you see where I am going with this?

Anyway, he (and probably a dozen other of his buddies) were instant messaging each other on line.  So my son needs to go do something and he just typed BRB for "be right back."  He jumped up and did not see this expand to BRIGHT RED BLOOD.

LOLOL.  Frantically, word travelled through cyberspace that something must have happened because he just typed in bright red blood and left.  When he finally went back to his screen he had all these worried messages...are you all right?  what happened???  are you alive???

I got the best laugh out of that!  He had to explain to everyone who had "heard" just  what had happened and now he is much more careful.

How funny - if he
had put that in on my computer it would be "bright red blood per rectum"  Not a great idea!
Oh, that's funny!

That must be the game system that I have heard talked about and someone laughingly said that this game would actually give you carpal tunnel, pulled muscles, etc.

Funny...

How funny!
Gave me a good laugh, which I needed! Thanks.
Funny too how you can think that you like
they have made here, and then all of the sudden realize they are not as nice as they seem by other posts that they make.
funny

Born and bred Texas, but never heard that before - i'm trying to figure out if it could be a compliment ???

This is funny because.....
I grew up with these sayings and use these all the time in my everyday talking without thinking about it. Hubby comes to me all the time when things he hears at work asking me what does this mean, such as "buying a pig in a poke", "don’t look a gift horse in the mouth", "leaving someone high and dry", so many, so little time.....I throw these around because where I came from everyone knows what they mean and we think nothing about using them. Bless his little short self he doesn’t know and I laugh when he tells me to speak "English."
LOL! Too funny . . .
When I told my son (after a couple of years of him questioning it because peers had already told him), he said, "The thing that made it most believable is that we never have a lot of money, but there is always so much cool stuff on Christmas morning!"
Too funny! >^..^<

My funny
One of my ESL doctors said the patient's lower extremities have disappeared. LOL.
That is too funny!

that was funny!...nm

and that would be me...*how funny*....s/m

And I'm a woman of my word - I never steer people wrong, rarely give unsolicited advice, and let me state it was fun emailing with you today!!  *giggling*......Nice to put the people with their posts...*lol*  I never put a name in but you know my name as I do yours now.

*too funny*

Have a GREAT evening :)

OMG! That's too funny!
She's so adorable though I think I can overlook it!
Funny you should say that (sm)
We were watching the news while eating breakfast this morning and they had bad reviews of Premonition, and I told DH, "Well if they don't like it, I'll probably love it".  That's what usually happens.
That is too funny, and just to think my
hubby told me just today he had to give colas up, hmmm..
Funny, my mom too!
And I have used everything else you can think of, now 40-something, and my skin looks like crap :( Gonna get me some of that miracle potion too!
That's so funny! sm

The strange thing is, I've seen adult birds (I don't know what kind, but they aren't very big - not crows or anything) harrass the cats far more than the other way around.  The birds will dive-bomb the cats if they dare to walk out in the open, and the cats just duck their head down and run to get away.

I've always wondered why the cats put up with it, why they don't just stand their ground and swat at the bird.  I think the birds must be protecting a nest to be this bold.  I've seen them dive-bomb our dogs too.  It seems there is always one bird who will "stand watch" and become very vocal if anyone (us, dogs, cats) go into the yard.  I halfway expect them to dive-bomb me one of these days.  They aren't foolin' around!

that's really FUNNY!!! ..........s/m

I don't know how that would happen...unless Diana is *padding* her age.

All I can say is I was at the Brooklyn Fox Theater with my older sister MANY times standing outside waiting to see shows with Little Anthony and the Imperials, Otis Redding, Martha and the Vandellas, Smoky Robinson and the Miracles, the Shirelles, and many many other groups when I was 12.  I also saw similar groups at the Apollo Theater in Harlem when my school took us all there when I was 16, was the last time I/we ever saw Otis Redding unfortunately.  The Tymes and the Shirelles came to my high school for the graduation/prom events to perform.

Diana Ross and the Supremes...I cannot remember if they were there at the Brooklyn Fox theater....they were not at the Apollo when I was there, but I loved the Supremes songs...I was such a Motown person, still  love that era of music/songs.

fun reminiscing.....

lol, funny!

seems funny to me....
Jay Leno is one to make fun.  He looks like the moon face on the old Mac tonight McDonald commercials.
LOL that is so funny- I used to think
that all cats were girls and all dogs were boys and that they would get married (yes, married) and have mixed litters of both. I can't remember where I got that idea, though.
You funny.
Not freaky.
How funny!
I found him creepy when he was younger and grinned too much, but now I find him cute.

But Brad Pitt annoys me because of the characters he's played (so immature). And for the longest time I saw him as a Robert Redford clone, physically. How is it they never played father and son?
How funny
I don't purposely watch cooking shows, but some channel has a cooking guy that comes on and annoys me to death. His voice is higher than mine; he sounds like Mickey Mouse.

Oh, how funny!
I may have a warped sense of humor, but this thread on Alli is making me laugh! Thanks for sharing this, Apple Scruff - got a great visual!
