OK I went to school originally for restaurant management so as you can imagine I've worked in a kitchen and I love to cook. Here's something I don't get. Every year apps include risotto and scallops topped with quail eggs, entrees include wellington. So why in God's name don't these contestants, once picked, spend their time practicing these dishes? I mean honestly it kills me every time. Apps should take no more than 7 minutes from time of placing order, entrees no more than 18 and they can't get a single table's worth of apps out in 30?? LORD! But love the show, love Gordon Ramsey. If any of you get BBC American check out his original Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. Love that show too.
