in the phrase "a 56-year-old woman." Its role in the sentence is to represent something hideously undesirable, or an unfortunate tradeoff. THAT'S what's so macho about it, & excuse the skit out of me, but only a man could come up with something like this & be so totally unaware of the slur.

You know, I tried to point out some of TS's machismo factor from the moment he started posting, & everyone jumped all over me for it. But in the end, oblivion to subtleties like this makes it clear when a man is doing the posting, & it looks like I'm not the only one it's starting to grate on.
