Best way to ship a computer? sm

My daugther is moving to Spain and she needs to ship her computer tower over there.  Does anyone know the best way?  Quotes from FedEx and UPS were over $400!  And I have seen how they throw those packages around so need to know if there is another way.

Thanks

Got new site but wondering, anyone jumping ship?
I saw the new site but I just do not care for it as well as I have this one. What is everyone's thoughts?
I totally agree with Ship. I used to be a step-mom...
My situation was much different, though.

I think you guys need to talk and your husband needs to get his head out of his butt and let you be a step-mom to your step-son, i.e., allow discipline for one thing. I'm not saying beat the kid bloody, of course, but if you can't tell him no or make him do something, that's ridiculous.

Sounds like your husband has big issues and I know how some men are about therapy or changing in any way. Being a step-mother is NOT easy but if you want it to work and think you can make it work, steps need to be taken; this won't go away and you can't just *tolerate* having your step-son there and only being happy with your husband when step-son is not there. Much, much good luck to you.
You looking to cruise there and back or fly right in? nm

Anybody with Disney Cruise
experiences??
Take a cruise or go on a vacation by yourself (sm)
give him a taste of what it is like without you there! And if he doesn't change - then leave. Even if you just leave temporarily....
Going on a cruise for the first time and wondering
is it better to purchase the land excersions online prior to leaving or wait until we get there?  Wondering if there is a difference in price and we would save by booking earlier.  TIA
I went on cruise to Alaska and loved it. SM
Saw many private planes. People there said most people leave there during the winter and then come back in spring, since everything sort of closes down in the winter. Is that true?

I'm in Florida, so prospect of living there isn't an option, lol! It was beautiful when we visited, in the 40's and clear. Just like it is here for three days out of the year.

Cruise questions regarding elevator noise

I just received documentation for our upcoming cruise and was delighted to find out we have been upgraded to a suite. My only concern is they have placed us near the elevator.  Is this going to noisy?  Has anyone experienced this before?  TIA

I'm waiting for a quote from Tom Cruise to surface, being he's the expert on EVERYTHING. nm
