I have had an umbilical hernia for quit a while and now it seems to be getting larger and making my stomach very lop-sided. I am not overweight either, but it looks like I'm pregnant which is virtually impossible. I too am wondering if I should go see a surgeon about this but I have not had any pain with mine. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
