They were stored in our garage. I mentioned below that apparently my BIL said to my husband that he was tired and he could take them to his house. Later when my husband asked about them, my BIL said they were in his locked yard and safe and sound and not to worry. My husband didn't question where they were.

This really was done because of laziness on both of their parts. We have the room, although our garage is very messy and would've taken some time to organize so they would fit.
