first of all, of course they try and talk people into taking services they did not go there for. It is a part of their job to *recommend* things that will cost you more money. It is the *bottom line*, afterall, that matters, and not any one customer's overall well being.

Secondly, it was a *suggestion* by your hairdresser. She did not force you to have it done or did it without consulting you. You agreed to it. Personally, knowing that these places try to *enhance* their services to extract more money from your bank account, I would have been steadfast and refused her *kind suggestion* and just asked her to do what I wanted. But that is just me. If you are truly unsatisfied with the outcome and have a legitimate gripe, then complain *nicely* and ask for your money back for the processing. Usually if a customer is unsatisfied with the outcome, they will refund money or offer to fix it for free. Good luck to you in that respect.

and just as a side note, and no criticism intended to you or anyone else, after 30 years of dying my hair and not really truly knowing what my *natural* color was any more, I decided to let all the years of coloring grow out. My hair is now totally grey and everyone says how pretty it is this way. I love my hair now. It is shiny and natural, and I don't have to spend all that money trying to look pretty anymore. to me, natural is always best. There are no products out there that can accomplish what mother nature gave us, even with all the stuff to make your hair *shine* after you have ruined it with coloring. It just is not the same. and are you also aware that continued use of these products has a direct link to bladder cancer?? yep. sure do! again, this is JMO and that is all. I really do wish you much luck with repairs and recompensation! Happy Holidays.
