They need a ton of exercise, a ton, and if they don't get it they don't stay healthy physically or mentally. Probably some obedience school also with a lot of socializing as a pup.

I would also find out what purpose the dog was originally bred for (I don't know), and see if you actually need that job done around your house by a dog.

Mine barks, so much, she barks and barks. I need that. I need to know if someone is at the door when my earphones are on. So she has a purpose and a job.

Make sure whatever rottweillers do naturally will not become a burden to you and is a characteristic that you need or want.
