Your menstruation will be all over the map from here on out. You may go 5 months perfectly fine, then 5 months irregular. It is all random and your ovaries will sput and sputter and wind down, just like when you started up.

If you go the doctor and complain, they WILL give you some type of medicine for it. Depending on which doctor you go to you could get hormones, antidepressants, or even antianxiety medication.

But perimenopause is not a disease. It is just your poor little exhausted ovaries retiring. And by the way, it is not fatal either, life goes on.

Be gentle with yourself. Your body knows what it is doing.
