yes I would

In Reply to: Would you ever kick your kids out of your home? - ArlingtonMT

My child isn't old enough to consider this yet, but my husband and I talk about "what if" scenarios all the time. I don't think that there is a specific age when you should kick your kids out, but if they are out of high school, no job, not going to any kind of school, no ambitions, yes I would want to kick them out. If they are going to school and need a place to stay to help with bills, then I think that is perfectly acceptable.

Personally, I couldn't wait to get out on my own. I jumped into college right out of high school two states away and I wouldn't change that experience. You do a lot of growing up on your own, and I think that is important for kids. They need to learn to be responsible on their own without the security of mom and dad constantly there. But, I don't know your kids. There are a lot of different circumstances out there that don't apply to my basic scenarios I have prepared myself for. My cousin moved in with his aging parents recently because he needed a place to stay while dealing with a messy divorce over the kids. Hope this post gives you something to think about.
