Ah, Cuckoo's Nest...great stuff! nm
s
you can do what I did to one lady - and flew to the state - sm
to collect the money. Boy, was she ever surprised when I literally ran into her at a restaurant. I had been trying to get to her office, but I went out to dinner the night I arrived and low and behold, there she was in the restaurant. Needless to say, her jaw dropped when I told her who I was and that I would be staying in town to file a small courts claim, along with filing a police report. I got my money! She has since closed up shop.

I know that not everyone can do this, nor would they, but I needed to make my point with this woman!
Call me cuckoo, but has anyone besides sm
heard sounds on this board (or any other of these boards on this site for that matter) that sound like "wow" or "woo".  It's random but when I open some of the posts, I definitely hear a Lemmings-type of "wow" or "woo".  Call me nutty but it is definitely there. I heard it over the weekend and kept looking for someone in my room but then heard it again with earphones. Maybe I should just crawl back in my corner and pretend it doesn't exist? I don't hear it anywhere else on the internet, just this site. I have to admit, it really is cute.
My, my, I guess the hornet's nest has been stirred...
If you can't make at least $18.00 an hour, then you are not taking full advantage of the resources available to you. Flexibility is one thing - but this is not the "old days" when one could just do as you please and the employer would take care of you. Therefore, if you need flexibility, I suggest you find a company who is amenable to that. Otherwise, degree or not (and, BTW, flexibility in even a degreed job is NOT a given)you're gonna have to go through the trenches just like the rest of us did. I'VE been there and done that and there isn't a high horse here - PERIOD. It's called REALITY - period! Have a good one.
