Yeah, I worked for two different ones like that, "tries" is the key word. It seemed the "beginning of the month" got further and further out each month and I never knew when I was getting a check. The excuse was always "I have not gotten a check from the client yet." I quit doing IC and real small MTSOs because I got tired of having to chase down my paychecks. It does not matter how much per line you are getting if you cannot count on getting your paycheck, the stress is just not worth it. Also, ICs (at least in my state) don't have much legal recourse except small claims court to get their money.


The 6 cpl is a joke/slap in the face for 10 years experience. RUN, you can do much better.
