If you intend to stay an MT, you are going to have to do increasing numbers of ESLs. This is a fact of this business.

For every "ignorant" one there are a dozen who are caring, sensitive and excellent doctors. I do an account that is 80% ESLs and is acute care. Being somewhat cardiology challenged, I had to learn cath lab on this account with 2 ESL cardiologists. It was extremely difficult at first, but I persevered until one day, I could understand every word this doctor said. It should be said that he is thrilled with his reports which have no blanks about 90% of the time and they are letter perfect otherwise. It was about ME not about HIM.

This is what is paying our salaries. If you really don't like it, find another career. If you love your career, as I do, then you learn to do them.
