I don't blame people too much for trying to make more money and get more for themselves, it is only when they can mess with someone's livelihood - then they should have to look face-to-face at the person before they have the right to cause someone financial hardship.
For years already there should have been some kind of advocacy program for at-home MTs (or QA, or anyone who needs it) whenever someone's pay is altered in any way and for whatever reason. There should be laws to protect people in our situation.

Depends on justification.
cntrl+shift+space should work when you are using full justification. But if you are justify/left, you have to use a hard return [enter] to move the two words down to the next line together.
For keeping hyphenates together, you can use cntrl+shift+hyphen regardless of justification.
