weaned from our cars.  Gasoline at $4 a gallon has been determined to be the tipping point, the number where we will seriously consider not driving our cars.  We are supposed to use public transportation.  Never mind that my bus stop is more than a mile from home and there are no sidewalks in my neighborhood.  Hiking to the bus should be a real treat in winter.  Carrying bags of groceries even more challenging.  It'll all be a great adventure!  Of course, as long as my job hasn't gone to Indiastanippines, I won't have a work commute.  Wonder how long that will last.
