If *you* wanted to know why a person was resigning, you would have asked. Period.

I was an MTSO and I can't imagine not asking - unless I had already figured it out and did not care to "fix" the problem or there was no solution.

Doesn't it occur to management that sometimes all it takes is a small effort to keep a good person?

      - No one is saying they want to be "begged" - just an acknowledgement that one is leaving! NM
