As I said, we have tried all of the

things you mentioned.  For my son, they have not worked.  None of it has worked.  Using Accutane is not a decision we would make lightly, and really I don't know if we'd elect to use it.  I just thought I'd see if anyone HAD used it and what their thoughts were on it.

You are fortunate that you son's acne is mild.  My son's not that lucky.  If his were even half what it is, Accutane would not be something I even would think about.  But it's horrible.  I think it even cost him a job.  He filled out an application and was called in for an interview.  The intervew took about 30 seconds and they said they'd call him...and never did.
