Is a bastardization of English rules. What they did was take the English language and make a mockery of it. The book is useless. Greg Book of Style or Chicago Book of Style or any college English book of style are correct. Medical transcription follows the same rules as the English language - using numbers, punctuation and English protocol is correct over anything that is in the BOS. These AAMT people have been ripping us off for years. Instead of spelling out numbers one through nine, they how have us putting numerals to take away from your character count. Who died and made AAMT the the chronicler of what is correct and incorrect.
