Next time cook it in the oven wrapped in foil. sm

This recipe is from pre-crockpot era.

Double wrap the roast in foil.  Poke holes in the foil with a fork and put the roast with the poked holes side down on the broiler pan.  Bake at 350 according to the size of the roast per pound.  Very yummy and very easy. Pan drippings make the best gravy.

Chicken fettuccine alfredo...why didn't anyone tell me
This is the recipe for the alfredo sauce (so easy). I buy a rotisserie chicken already hot and cooked at the store and shred the white meat up and boil my noodles. Then I mix it all together. It makes me look like I slaved for hours. Sometimes I make it with shrimp too.

1 pt. half & half or light cream
1 egg yolk
1 stick sweet cream butter
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

To make Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in a small saucepan. Place half & half in a small bowl. Add yolk. Hand beat until mixed well. Add Parmesan cheese and heat through. Do NOT bring to boil. Cream will curdle.

The ideas for those rotisserie chinckens are endless; chicken salad, chicken noodle soup, etc. They are so good!
