I was a newbie and hired by SoftScript. Although I appreciated the opportunity, they gave me the hardest dictation they could and although promised, they didn't give me a mentor or big sister as they called it. Anyway, still looking but found a company that will intern me for no pay until I am at the standard they want and then they will start paying me. Try emailing companies and requesting mentorship or internship. This works. But you could be eating taters and beans for a while.
