I have read about the certified medication aide agenda and if memory serves me correctly a certified nurse assistant can complete additional studies which allows her/him to administer routine medications. I believe it is on a state-by-state basis. As always, I suggest doing research. Most likely if you contact the nurse licensing division in your state they can answer all your questions. Best of luck to you in finding your career change.
