Serving Over 20,000 US Medical Transcriptionists

Cahoonas!

Right on! For too long we have been told to "keep quiet, act professional, don't make waves, we have a job." Yeah right. This industry has turned into dog crap. It used to be about patient care. That is the last thing on the big MTSO's agenda. AAMT and the powers that be have been in bed with the MTSOs and that has hurt every one. In today's world, corporate power and greed rule, slave shop set ups are in, and hypocracy reign free. Look, this industry is dying. You go in the front door of medical transcription and are given false illusions of opportunity, endless possibilities of income potential, and a false sense of security. However, out the back door, these same corporations are rushing to ship transcription jobs overseas so they can "save," they're rushing to implement speech recognition on all platforms. That is the #1 goal of the MTSO's. Why should they put up with outspoken transcriptionists? They don't have to! They are working away out the back end preparing the third world countries for their agenda. Yeah, what ever. Soon the third world countries will begin complaining about their 2 cents a line pay, better working conditions, time off, weekends off, on and on. MTSO will then treat them like they do the American transcriptionists - I can see it now - cut their pay to 1/2 cent per line with "unlimited possibilites for advancement and opportunity!! What crap!
