Request that they place a stop payment on the check, reissue, and mail priority or overnight mail
If they refuse or invent unbelievable excuses, you'll know you have a problem. If MY check was a week late, there are many months I would be in deep trouble.
I realize checks occasionally do get lost in the mail. If they are 100% sure it was mailed, then they shouldn't mind issuing another.

the mailman couldn't seem to get my mail to me reliably. It would be delivered to my neighbors on either side, my neighbors across the street, down the street, the next block over, etc. I always got it eventually but had to depend on the kindness of neighbors and strangers to get my mail to me. Also would see the mailman drop letters out of his bag and keep walking, not realizing he had dropped them. I think the post office hires anyone these days.

I live in PA. I dont have Ipay. I got the actual check in the mail not on direct deposit. It said
they miscalculated the lines and sorry for the inconvenience. I have been on DQS for 2 years and now they send a check for miscalculating the lines.
My friend who works for them is having her mail go to her own account. She hates this new mail prog

In every company I have worked for that pays via mail, they mail the checks on payday. sm
Depending on the distance you can get them anywhere from 3-8 days later. Right now one takes 3 days, the other 3-5.

On AOL I can determine who I want to receive mail from and block those I do not -- and if they are blocked they get their E-mail back as being "undeliverable". If she sends things out -- send back --unaccepted. But to be simple just E-mail her back or call the recuriter if you don't want to deal with her directly and state -- leave me alone. If she is in another state you should not be scared of her but you may simply have to put it out there in no uncertain terms.
I'm getting e-mail and personal mail from MQ regarding changes
and lawsuits. What's up with MQ? Any speculation? My mail is general and not specific to my office. Think things are coming to a head with the lawsuits and MQ is trying to play nice?

had a similar issue with TWC and they had done some upgrades and the modem I had was no longer compatible. The tech knew what the problem was the minute he saw the modem, only it took me about 3 months and threatening to cancel for them to get out here.
No brainer here. Stop payment on first check before you issue 2nd check.

Go to SSA.gov and research the payee options. You may have to use the search engine, but your answer to this particular issue should be there.
I am disabled and while my kids were minors, I had to fill out a form each year on how I, as the payee spent each and every penny of the money they received. I don't see how his mother can justify how she spent his money for things that you normally would pay.
That said, he is getting Social Security right? Is your son receiving a dependent check? Under law, if a parent is disabled and has minor children, each and every one of those children also receive a check until they turn 18 or graduate from high school, which ever comes first.
The check is a percentage of your husbands, so for 800.00, your son should receive at least 350.00. If you have not been getting this, they would pro-rate it back to when your husbands disability started and that in itself, could solve a lot of your financial problems. i was on wildblue. i absolutely HATED it. i paid $400 for install and equipment and bill was $51.51 a month for smallest plan. no bills, had to be direct debit from credit card or bank. wasn't a lot faster than dial up and i frequently went over my download limit so i had to upgrade to the $80/mo plan. speed was no faster on their "fastest plan". they had a 1-yr contract and only 1-yr warranty. well 20 days (kid you not) out of warranty my tria (the eye on the dish) went out and it cost me a total of $275 for replacement and tech call (had to wait a week and a half before tech could come and then he no showed and rescheduled for the next day stating he didn't have the equipment he needed to fix me and the repair order had been in for over a week by that time. no call to say he wasn't coming either, just no showed). they TRIED to sell me the entire package all over again to get me locked into another 1-yr contract and i declined. it was best in their book so your warranty and equipment would be "new". i had to tell them for 5 months to change which credit card to debit from, never could get it right. had to tell them for 3 months when my phone number changed. i could not wait until the day my 1-yr contract was over. have heard really good things about hughesnet. i think it is a tad more a month, but supposedly a lot faster than wildblue and not near as many problems from what i have heard from others. wildblue was down for an entire week at one point throughout the year i was on it. always got lost signals and page cannot be found multiple, multiple times throughout the day. i used wildblue with VPN (with transtech) and could not keep a connection enough to get a decent line count as i was dropping signals too much and it did slow it way down. i finally got clinic work rather than acute care where time and speed wasn't a factor. research message boards for complaints about wildblue and hughesnet before deciding. also hughesnet i think told me a 2-yr warranty rather than only the 1-yr with wildblue.

MQ mail
I got it to work but it takes forever to get into your email box and send anything. I got into my box yesterday..slow..slow.slow..Today I got in and tried to send an email to my Transcription Coordinator and two times it would not go through, finally the third time it did..I dont know why they changed the system..maybe some techs needed something new to do so they made a new project to change the email system. If they dont fix it, it is a disaster..Hopefully today, the first day, will be just fixing the minor things and we will proceed from there..Its always something with this company ya know?? No work, but you better let them know your schedule, cant even get through on email..Grrrrrrrr..

I am just giving up. I get it and try to keep it open so I can check it but it won't stay opened. I am going to check it once a day. If they want me, they can phone.

I can't get past the login screen. It says "Welcome!" then throws me back to the login screen. I see they have a message that says "You can still send messages to your contacts through your Outlook or Outlook Express." Wrong. Can't do that, either. Have been on hold to Atlanta for over 1/2 hour. Whose idea was this??

Log in using your I-mail address and your password. I-mail address should be your MQ name (?)__@medquistmail.com. Password. You get into a screen that apologizes etc. Hit continue.
If you forgot anything there is a box that should allow you to retrieve password.
If all else fails, call tech support and they will walk you through it as I did the first time using it at 1-800-342-8283. They can help you specifically for I-mail problems.

If you use the Reply By E-Mail option in your post, whoever e-mails you will not see your e-mail address whatsoever.
Once that e-mail arrives to your mail server, you will see who it came from and if you reply to their e-mail, they will see yours -- it will work as regular e-mail.

It always takes over a month to come. Save up for it because you will back-pay to cover the time to keep your coverage. In other words, I think you basically pay 2 months at once. But do call the person in charge of benefits at the job you left. They explain COBRA all the time and will be sending it to you.
