Grammar, account specifics and an occasional omission are just the tip of the iceberg. Developing a good ear is probably the most important skill in MT. When you understand what you are typing, the rest will all fall into place. The QA people will harp on this and that but they really want to know if you know what you are typing. Only experience will give you good comprehension skills and that takes time and hard work.

not "fast forward." I do the same thing. It makes the long pauses pass more quickly.There's no chance of missing any of the dictation, as there would be if you were to "fast forward"  Incidentally, whom are you quoting?  LOLz.
