Again, this is my opinion - I suggest you not go door to door to solicit.  Why?  Think about it - these office managers are busy, as are their docs, and if everytime a sales person came by selling something, they'd never get anything done. To me, it would be rude just to walk in without having an appointment.


I solicit clients by sending out a professional marketing letter.  Not a flyer, because to me that is so unprofessional and so "car-wash style."  Yes, it's expensive with the stamps and stationery, etc, but it is well worth it and shows them how you put a nice, professional looking letter together and how their letters will look when you transcribe them.


I have always gotten clients this way, and I've been in business now for over ten years....
