The last time I typed this way was about six years ago and it was AutoChart. The would not let us cut and paste. It was sooooo slow, but then I guess that is why they paid 5 cents a line more than others were paying for regular WordPerfect and Word accounts. It was still very tedious, but hopefully things have changed! At least you can check things like demographics, etc. to be sure of the patient's name, dob and other important information that you need - that was the only good thing, that and the fact that you could go into the patient's medication profile - if the doctor dictating was horrible you could check the medications yourself, allergies too! Have fun!
