Unable to access this site lately, I just found the EMR conversation down the list.
From what I read "somewhere" the government wants to use this so that records can be accessed from anywhere electronically, correct? - If so, why can't that be done anyway? Our files are done via the Internet, so why don't they store the information we type in an electronic database to provide the same access?
I am relatively new at this, so I might be missing something due to ignorance ... but, gee, I'd hate to lose my job before I even get good at it!
