I have an eskie companion also, got him 2 years ago at the pound after looking for an eskie and he is just about the best dog ever and cute, couldn't be cuter. Just wanted to comment on the finicky thing, he is soo finicky. Hates most dog food in the cans, finally found Eagel Pack duck variety that he likes and he will eat Evo by Innova dry. Tried him on the raw diet, but he did not like it. He doesn't even like chicken and rise, just nice to know I wasn't losing my mind about him being finicky.
