Before I found out it was a fake, it was
Blair Witch project. Never been so scared of a movie in my life!!
Anyone have 2 fake enthusiasm...
over a particular relative's gifts? I swear my big sister gives the cheesiest, cheapest gifts every year - last year she gave me deodorant samples and the year before that some tupperware (???!!!) she was about 2 throw away. It is soooo hard to act excited and I dread the moment when I have to open her gifts every year. I always save hers for last and give an Oscar winning performance. Do U have a really cheap relative and how do U act excited?
$3.00 a page. I wish $300 - sorry. Also by fake it, I
mean, just be confident when you speak to the doctors' offices - don't let on that you are unsure of yourself!! That's what I meant by "fake it"!!
fake job, not working, eh?
You ladies are saints to put up with that. I know it's hard to be a single aging female but having to share your hard, earned money with men who have no regard for your knowledge, your dedication and your perseverence is atrocious. If you must stay with these "lovable idiots" please be careful and make sure you take your vacations, take care of yourselves physically and emotionally and make sure you protect your hard-earned wages. We are a rare breed and need to take care of ourselves as no one else will or seems to want to.

She took the safe way out. Rocky was fake and got caught
while the average joe is head over heels for this girl.  Could go either way, he might enlighten her in that a good guy doesn't have to be a total hunk.  Then again, she may be so shallow not to see that.  I think her mom did make an impression on her decision though.
We did a fun fur compact, an Altoids tin with fake fur glued on..sm
the top, a ribbon around the sides and a jewel glued into the middle of the top. Oh and a little mirror on the inside. You might want to paint the tins ahead of time and maybe glue the mirror in ahead of time too but they can do the rest. They were very popular!  The girls can keep 'em and the boys can give 'em to mom.  link enclosed. Be sure to use a tacky glue like Aleene's.
This is a fake. Why should we care about a story put out by a troll?
:+
because it is SPAM, it is fake, it is phoney, it's a SCAM.
ho hum
ugggh regular TV means sit coms and fake dramas with B actors?
I would rather watch education TV and documentaries than the JUNK they put on TV these days. Desperate Housewives? How hokey and low-life. Not funny, not mystery. Gooney.

How do I get my messages on here.
I need another MT's help. My e-mail address is erinrempalski@yahoo.com. I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Erin
These messages seem to be getting cut off so later in the day.

I got the same messages....
Two of them, one Susan Poe and one Susan Ronald or something like that. What's the link?
Messages deleted??
I really want to thank all you wonderful people who have tried to help me today. I am wondering what happened to all of the posts though, as I am only seeing a few of the many that were earlier this afternoon. Did the administrator delete some of them? If so, why?
Wow..beautiful messages...THANK YOU EVERYONE!

I really appreciate you all taking the time to give me some insight.  I'm going to hang in there.  The one poster was right--I do have PTSD from my old job who stressed me continously about firing me!  Sigh..that was a horrible experience and I'm still burned from that.  I had never gone through anything like that before.  Every job I've ever had, I excelled with it. Well again, THANK YOU!

Hi, email link is in both my messages.

I'm still interested.  Thanks.

How do you encrypt your email messages?

I think I'm getting my first contract that I solicited myself, so bear with me.  Does Outlook or Outlook Express have features where I can safely send emails back to the doc with the transcriptions, or do I need a stand-alone product for HIPAA compliance?

Thanks!

I will not post nasty messages

about ESL. I will not post nasty mesages about ESLs. I will not post nasty messages about ESL.

Okay, done. I did not post a nasty message about ESLs.

I had problems with error messages
and the tech support at my company told me to run detect and repair in Word and that fixed it right up. Try that. Detect and repair is under the Help menu.

Silly to move messages
Unless things get really out of hand, I think it is silly to move messages around. So what if they are not in the best spot for them.

They should at least leave the ones that already have replies.
What if you post messages under a different SN (AOL gives you ability to create several).
I remember posting a response. Received an e-mail began which began with "Hi" and my name. This was rather unsettling as you can imagine.
text/IM messages have to be deciphered and analyzed

I'm so glad I went to this page to check my old messages.
Cause I found this and I thank you. I'm so happy and peaceful. I'd been begging for PEACE and now I have it! I'm staying away from poisonous toxic man for good.
Administrator - is there hope for this buzzing on messages? sm
I'm getting the buzz on any message I click to read.  Good luck getting it to go away - it sounds like a bee buzz!!!
I don't know but if by MTSO, half the messages would be deleted

Really. ... The trainer warned that you might get error messages? sm
I am thinking this was a very long time ago as I know the trainer and she would have done her best to get this fixed for you. I do hate that you had a bad experience. For some, it works out well but not others. That is any job that you start. But again, sorry it was a bad experience for you.
Yes, thank you! And thank you for locking out some of the negative messages. What a relief!

Exactly, one should only react to messages and warning from the antivirus program
one subscribed. Dr Virus! LOL!
Kind of like that Saturday Night Live skit about subliminal messages.

I always thought that was hilarious.  Some of these doctors are so transparent in the tone of voice and when you get their reports over and over, you can almost tell by their choice of words (and the background conversation when flirting with the nurses) that they're chauvinistics going through middle-age crisis.  Can you see it:

HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS:   The patient is an elderly 45-year-old female (I only go for young blondes) who is here complaining (I hate whiners) of a migraine headache that has waxed and waned over the past 2 days (must be that time of the month).

PAST MEDICAL HISTORY:  Hypertension, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia (did I say I hate whiners?).

MEDICATIONS:  None.

ALLERGIES: None.

SOCIAL HISTORY:  The patient is currently employed as a secretary,is married (how does her husband put up with it), and currently lives in ___.

FAMILY HISTORY:  No history of CVA or TIA.  Positive history for coronary artery disease, migraine headaches, and anxiety (now I see where the whining comes from).

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION:  Vital signs:  Temperature 98.6 degrees, heart rate 72, blood pressure 110/65, respirations 20.  Weight is 140 lbs (whatta cow).  GENERAL APPEARANCE:  This is an obese female, well-nourished (obviously) who appears her stated age (not Jessica Simpson by a long shot). HEENT: Face is symmetric (including both of her chins).  PERLA, EOMI. No nystagmus. NECK: Supple (I hate having to say supple when it's as flabby as this one).  No tenderness.  LUNGS: Clear to auscultation.  BREASTS: Symmetrical.  No masses (Not bad for an old woman). ABDOMEN:  (Ughhhhhhhhhh) Obese, flabby, nontender.

Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.  When you hear these dictators over and over with such obvious distaste in their voices you wonder if the patients sense it or if they put on such a good act that the patients don't even realize.

eBay
My sister does eBay on and off but was doing it full time a couple of years ago and made probably $40K that year selling mostly popular dietary supplements.  She was able to find a distributor and then sold them at a profit on eBay.  She always tells people, watch infomercials, keep an eye on what is popular on eBay, find a distributor (I think this would be the hardest part), and figure out a competitive price.
eBay
I sell & buy on eBay. I was a MT in the cardiopulmonary dept of the hospital but needed to expand my terminology (went to nursing school in early 70s) and managed to purchase the entire 2005 ed. of the SUM program with all books & up-to-date reference materials for $0 with buying packages, keeping what was needed and reselling. This included a second Dell computer system, a dictaphone and new Infinity USB foot pedal. After completing this over the winter, I am hoping to transcribe from home as an IC. I did work for many years as a legal transcriptionist. I had to leave my hospital work due to health problems and am now on Social Security disability but am still able to do a limited amount of work from home, just at my own pace and only to earn under $700/month.

I guess I rambled on about this but my daughter and I have sold quite a bit over the last couple of years. We have our "eBay closet" where we pick up extremely cheap new items (such as we find on $1 racks) or sets after holidays. It's a fun way to earn a little extra money. She also sells her kid's clothes for way more than she would get at a garage sale. We just don't purchase large items that are hard to package & ship or are difficult to store.
ebay
Just remember you have to pay taxes on it now. Last year the IRS busted thousands of people for not reporting the income.
Try Ebay
:)
Ebay.
Be sure to search for "foot petal" or "wave peddle" because you can find things cheaper with typos.

I got a brand new Stedman's on ebay for 30.00 including shipping.

Ebay
You can find Dictaphone C-phones on ebay for about 200.
EBay
I just bought a new one on EBay.  They have all different kinds and you can ask questions of the seller if you are in doubt about something.  A new Panasonic Standard Tape usually sells for about $200 new, and I was able to get a Sanyo which is a much fancier, nicer machine that usually sells for about $350-399 for the $200.  They also have used ones.  Check it out.
Try Ebay
I needed a computer with Windows XP, and it is where I got mine. You're most likely not going to find a computer with Stedman's on it. You'll have to buy that separately.
Have you tried ebay? NM
x
Yes, I tried ebay. Thanks for
the info though.  Guess I'll have to pay full price.  Oh, well.

I have about 6 different kinds.  Hubby likes his Sennheiser, but I prefer my RCA WHP 170.
