Filet Mignon!
I won a $100 HEB gift card which can be used at the Central Market - does anyone here speak Texan? Anyway, I used a lot of it to buy three pounds of their filets. I did some last week and they were so good I had a religious experience eating it. So tonight, I guess I'm getting more religion.
Funny story about filet mignon
My cousin and her husband were out with another couple. The husband is a certified card-carrying redneck and proud of it. He had no idea what was wrong when after he ordered his "fill-it mig-non" everyone cracked up. So, that's what we call it now at our house.
Filet mignon and lobster tails
with potato and fresh vegetables! Anything chocolate for dessert or a great big piece of homemade cheesecake and a coffee drink with Kahlua or Bailey's! Of course it's not often, can't afford that all the time! I love turkey and all the trimmings too, but you forgot the oven baked biscuits and cornbread! YUMMY!

Pasta salad
I am making this as we speak.
1lb box rotini pasta
add 1 bag frozen vegetables at the end of cooking time. Your choice. I use California mix, broccli, cauliflower, carrots.
Drain and cool.
When cool add 1 bottle ranch dressing, or pepper ranch, or Italian dressing. Any kind of dressing will do.
Add 1 can sliced olives. Sometimes I add artichoke hearts chopped up, sometimes some pepperoni chopped.
Mix well and chill well. Just before serving I mix in about a 1/4 cup grated cheese.
Delicious.

bread (shepard's loaf in little cubes)

We are going to have an easy and cool summer dinner tonight. Making chicken salad sandwiches. Want a good pasta salad recipe to go with it. Preferably a creamy (mayonnaise/sour cream) style. Getting bored with the italian dressing recipe lol

Easy Pasta
1 pound of tricolor pasta
ranch or italian dressing
1/2 bottle of McCormick salad supreme
1 small can of black olives, chopped
add whatever else you like-
- shredded cheese
- cherry tomatoes
- broccoli
You can double/triple/etc.

Bowtie pasta - Zesty Italian dressing,
small bits of sharp cheese, raw broccoli cut up, and tomotoes cut up in tiny squares! So easy and delicious.
Sometimes, I throw a little bit of pepperoni in there for spice.
Any kind of pasta, you can add sliced black olives,
diced celery, onion, etc., then pour Cheese Fantastico salad dressing all over and mix together well. Chill until ready to serve. This is a big HIT with my family.

Chicken Cesar Salad (SM)
I need suggestions on how to cook the chicken for the salad, know how to make the salad, but not the chicken, do not just want plain chicken I was thinking about sauteing the chicken somehow, any suggestions?
I make it with jambalaya mix and fix a salad.

Ingredients in Salad Supreme Seasoning
GRATED ROMANO CHEESE MADE FROM COW'S MILK (PART-SKIM MILK, CHEESE CULTURE, SALT, ENZYMES), SALT, SESAME SEED, POPPY SEED, PAPRIKA, CELERY SEED, GARLIC, BLACK PEPPER, SILICON DIOXIDE (ADDED TO MAKE FREE FLOWING), AND RED PEPPER.
Easy crab salad on crackers
I don't know if everyone would like crab on crackers, but here is a quick recipe just in case.
1 package of Louis Kemp crab
1 small tub of cream cheese
3 to 4 green onions (using the whole stalk)
In a food processor, chop the crab and onions, mix in the cream cheese, and chill overnight. Serve with any kind of crackers.

I found this marvellous Greek salad dressing with feta cheese, made locally, called YiaYia's, and so I've been having lots of salads lately! :) It's still warm enough here (low 80s) to BBQ outdoors, which I love, so I'll do that, save the Foreman grill for when it's cold!

 This doc stutters, stammers, doesn't know how to use the reverse key to make corrections and ...corrects over himself all the time so I have no idea what he REALLY means...
Talks through his nose, buries the words up somewhere in his left sinus I think, drops off the ends of words, I think he EATS that last parts of words so they never get said....
and now tonight he will just say terms like ...Temperature 98.5....then a pause...then Temperature 98.6....then he says I'm sorry....then he just starts in talking about the spine.
It's like standard phrases are just falling out of his mouth as he sits there and he's not even knowing he's saying them and they have no connection to what he's doing.
HE'S DRIVING ME NUTS.....ER than I am.
