I hate to say this but I have much the same problem although I am employed by a hospital. I've been doing this for 20 years and have never felt like I am putting out sloppy work like I am required to do now. It goes against my grain but I do what QA tells me because my pay is based on my accuracy. I HATE IT! I am told that the doctors need to make any corrections, that it is called "accountability." I wonder how many doctors really read their notes anyway, and it scares to think that they may be dictating my health problems during any future hospitalizations. Right now, I'm just waiting to retire. The bottom line honey is $$$ and production for the institution, but not for us.
