I went in to have 1 ovary removed laparoscopically because of a cyst and they ended up doing a laparatomy incision and took both ovaries out. I had a hyster 2 years before and with all the scar tissue, my 2 ovaries had come together with adhesions. I was in the hospital for 2 days but did great with the recovery. I was off work for 3 weeks, but could have gone back in 1 - even with the incision! I really felt good. Good luck to you!!!
