I just recently acquired an EMDAT account and use the Infinity pedal. I had the same problems as you. I downloaded Express Scribe and then in the options tab, where you type your password, you can choose which player to use, pick Express Scribe and when you open up EMDAT and download your files, they will download into your ES player. You can then configure the pedal with ES and I haven't had any problems. Even after configuring pedal with EMDAT, I still had problems with it just acting weird, so I just gave this a try and it's been great. I really like EMDAT platform myself. I have only worked in Word and found it extremely easy to learn and is fast. I type on a clinic account and can go to town with it. If you have any other questions, let me know.
