 I usually try to start cutting the caffeine at about 11 p.m. and drink a Dr. Atkins protein drink instead.  They're really good and have very little sugar or carbs, just a nice big hit of protein.  Also, since I don't normally go to sleep til about 5 a.m. (takes awhile for my mind to shut down), I'll have a light, healthy snack (raw almonds, soy nuts, fat-free mozzarella cheese stick, or baby carrots, something along those lines). Also, if I need to just relax my mind from voices for a few minutes, I'll scoot over to YouTube and just listen/watch a music video (preferably a fast rockin' one to perk me back up).
 
 Hope those tips help.  I'm nocturnal by nature, but even I occasionally find myself losing focus on occasion and find that doing the above helps me to concentrate.
