I have policies for health and dental. I do have high deductible and an HSA. I have a daughter that is school-age and my premiums cover both of us for $240 a month. I cannot remember what the quote range was for me individually.

You might check out ehealthinsurance.com to get an idea of what is available and pricing. They go into good detail with the policy comparisons and will actually let you see what premiums will be without having to deal with agents and their incessant phone calls.

I have direct deposit of a percentage of each check go to savings, daughter's 529, my tax account, and my IRA. What is left goes to checking. I do have life insurance on each of us that is tied into mutual funds. I don't have disability insurance right this minute (probably just hexed my self right there) but am shopping around.
