 Basically, for the first 2 weeks you do away with all breads, bad carbs, and sugars.  Then after the first 2 weeks you bring those back in gradually, but your metabolism is reset.
 
 A sample diet on the first two weeks is:
 Breakfast:  Omlet with lots of veggies and a glass of V8 juice (or coffee as I can't live without caffeine even though they said to do away with caffeine, I never have and still lost quickly).  About 2 hours or so later a snack of either ham slices with cheese or a string cheese (mozzarella) with celery, about 2 hours later lunch of maybe a salad or tuna, or chicken breast, about 2 hours later another snack--my fav. is sugar-free Jell-O with fat free Cool Whip.  Then supper about 2 hours after that.  I mean it says to eat until you are full so portion size does not apply here.  A lot of veggies and protein, but not Adkin's-like.
