 I think doing weddings would give you the most bang for your buck during the "wedding season", then maybe you could do makeup applications at a spa during the "off-season" or at a dept store, hair salon, etc. 
 I mentioned weddings because in addition to doing the bride, you also have the opportunity to do the bridal party, the mother's, etc. So 1 client could instantly turn into 10 or 12 and you could probably do up to 2 weddings per day. And also network with other wedding vendors (especially hairstylists) to really get your name out there.
