Mine is dark, from both breasts. I had a mammogram, which was normal. I looked up breast discharge online and it is fairly common. My sister-in-law had the same thing I have, in both breasts. She had biopsies, which were negative. It might have something to do with clogged milk ducts or something. Mine is not painful. It is not an infection, either, as I had cultures done of the discharge. I wouldn't worry too, much, but it is good you are having a mammogram. Good luck to you!
