I bet most of them were nicer when

all the MTs worked in house. I've only gotten to work alongside radiologists, and it was great to be able to actually talk to them. Most were extremely reasonable in person (and radiologists tend to be much better dictators because they need every word to be right).

The OP is in the US. Let's try being a little nicer.

Here is an even nicer way to handle it!
I totally agree with having her over in YOUR space and being nice to her. Tell her you can hear everything through the walls and celings (blaming them was a good idea) Tell her other things BESIDES her that you can hear. Tell her what you do for a living and what times you work, and how those "other" noises are so distracting. You don't have to tell her she is too loud; she will surely get the picture if she has any sense at all. If that doesn't fix the problem, then I would go to the manager and ask if there have ever been other complaints about her first. He/She may already know this is a problem. You never know how people will react if you tell them you would appreciate it if they would be quiet, no matter how nice you say it. I would have her over for snacks and a "chat" real soon though or you will go insane!
What you said is so much nicer than what I was thinking (nm)

Well, let's hope they are nicer than you.

And maybe you both should pur forth a little effort little nicer in the AM. What I said was
at being a little bit nicer in the AM. What I said was possible Adware. What a sally that you think I would allow that type of trash to rear its ugly head on any of my PCs. NO NO NO. I have far more superior PC knowledge than to allow that to happen to me, but I have received e-mails from others who visit this site and are perturbed by it.
My post was for the benefit of MTs who have little or no knowledge regarding safeguarding their PCs and are not afraid to ask for help.
Therefore, if this does not apply to you, MYOB. NO need for argumentative posts, nor do I have the time for those who are habitally and perennially in that simple-minded mindset.
Have a great day all!
Nicer option inside sm
Why make the cashier feel awkward for simply trying to be nice?

Mother's Day doesn't have to be about being a mom. It can also be about YOUR mom. Accept the cheer to have a nice day and HAVE a nice day!
I have vinyl but I think ceramic tile looks nicer.

Been there, done that. Faisal is one of the nicer hospitals in the kingdom,

I was out there from early 80s to 2000.   You live by their rules, you will LOVE it...the experiences you acquire, the people you meet are like NOTHING you will experience in the states.  Money is not as good as in the past, but opportunities for travel and exotic shopping still abound.   Faisal is run better than some hospitals in the Kingdom.  Believe me the ordinary Saudi is nothing like you hear on the news.  They are just like the rest of us.  Riyadh is no less safe then New York.  I had to retire there, but if I was not retirement age, I would still be there in a heartbeat.   Go, and enjoy yourself.  If you could get on at Aramco in Dhahran, life would be even better for you as an expat.

Naw, not nicer. Moderate just quicker to delete

which makes it nicer. either way, not a fight site anymore. sm
as it should be. Should have been all along.
rich skanks dress better and have nicer cars and homes.

Aladdin is a nice hotel, nicer than Excalibur but comparable costs.
And it's in the middle of the Strip, so if you plan to do walking you have the Bellagio, Paris, etc. close by.
