I signed something a week ago. I checked on my neighbor on Monday who seldom checks msgs.  I sent her a text msg, then walked over to her house.  She was fine.  I was fine.  She didn't have any idea that her medical records may be typed by someone who may be living in another country. We're in very good southern area.

Case in point?  I told her that she has the right to view her records She is a psych patient but a highly educated one (with her own Ph.D), as well as one in life.  She was glad that I told her that.

When I got copies of my screning mammograms (which take longer because I opted to have a boob job!), there was a typo!  It jumped right off the page:  What was the word that jumped out?  "screenign"

So is that an error or not?  Did I return the report to the facility?  No. I laughed about it and am telling what I saw in my own personal reports.  A radiologist (who billed me but I don't know this physician) read signed the report electronically.  In my real world I would take my own films a block down the road and have a radiologist I can call at home and know I won't be blocked or anything!
