I did it....

I loved it and doubled my production in about 6 weeks, on Escription, BUT...

I worked at a very pretentious facility that prided themselves on having the very best doctors in the state. They all were superb dictators and the documents for edit were near perfect (except for minor formatting and sometimes skipped occasional words). I could practically just sit there, read along with the report, and upload it with minimal effort.

I've never done Escription with a difficult account, so I'm certain it will be an entirely different scenario, what with stammerers, dead air, ESLs, motormouths, mushmouths, etc.

I think it's a crapshoot. If you've got a good account with truly decent dictators who know what they're doing, enunciate, and don't waste your time spinning their wheels flipping through charts, eating, etc., you should be okay once you catch onto the editing process.

Conversely, if it's a difficult account, I'd proceed with a large amount of caution.

Good luck to you, and let us know how it turns out.
