a when my wrists started hurting. I had just started working from home and I think I was not ergonomically correct. I had Dragon, and it was not the one for transcriptionists, but it worked somewhat. I still had my hands on the keyboard but, for the most part, it worked. Now about my production, I know it didn't help, but I think it could have after lots of time and practice. I could see where a transcription package might have worked much better, even though the Dragon that I had worked OK.

This worked for me for a little while and it did give my wrists a rest even though I was still on the keyboard. I ended up buying some special gloves for transcriptionists. I adjusted my desk and chair, and then my wrist pains went away. They haven't hurt that way since then, but I still use the gloves sometimes when my wrists get tired.

Keep us posted on how things go, and if your production gets better. As much as I would detest it, I would stick with it for at least the 3 months. You might end up loving it!

 Good luck!
