I also use document preparation services.  If you have a good CPA, then he/she should advise you in order to have all your bases covered for any service taxes, etc. 


Are you doing your taxes yourself?  If so, just my .02 here --- I used to do my own with Turbo Tax because it was pretty simple.  When I finally had a huge income increase one year, I sought the advice of a CPA and it was worth every cent.  My CPA has saved me a fortune of money over the years and has definitely been worth every penny I have paid him.  In addition, I think I read somewhere that a small home-based business is less likely to be audited if the IRS sees the tax prep done by a CPA.
