Sometimes can waste almost a full minute trying to get the patient's name. They spell it, and it is either so fast or slurred, it is impossible. I do go back after and re-listen to all blanks over and over. Sometimes I get one or two, but mostly they are hopeless. Blowing noises, snorting, maybe I'm just in the wrong profession... I don't have bionic ears.
