they are only best for city traffic as that is where you will save in gas usage. According to a report I saw on some random news channel, they said that if you do mainly highway traveling, then a hybrid will not save you much in terms of purchase price vs. gas savings.

I also heard that Toyota just came out with a new Hybrid Camry as well, you may want to check that out too if you are interested in Toyota Hybrids.
