I don't know about "getting away with this."

In Reply to: working away from home - clueless mt as well

I travel frequently and very seldom take a non-working vacation. My platforms and programs are downloaded to my laptop. I take my footpedals and anything else I need with me when I hit the road. However, my supervisors know I work when I travel, and they are fine with it.

If your company has a policy that you must use their computer or a policy that forbids working away from home, then I would not try to get away with anything.

It's not a matter of "getting through" to her...sm
Everyone who smokes KNOWS it's dumb, it stinks, and is possibly going to kill us.  All the negatives have been pounded in our heads for many years.  It is just a matter of  "deciding" to quit.  Noone is going to talk someone into it.  Probably when her health gets bad enough, she'll do it.
Thanks for "getting it." Some people have no sense of humor.
