I've seen posts too of people saying they use their own personal VR, but I don't think it's as easy as it sounds. I once tried to dictate something onto a tape transcriber that I was listening to and gave up very quickly. It was almost as if I could type it faster than I could think it through and say it.

Also, some court reporters use a similar set up called a stenomask that looks like a black O2 mask that they put over their mouth and dictate what is being said in the court proceeding. They need specific training for that and I'm not sure if it's actual VR or simply a recording. My head would probably explode if I had to do VR on top of crappy dictators and researching terms, account specs, etc.
