I don't know, but my gallbladder is slightly inflamed

and I've had trouble losing weight. I've been eating maybe a toast or Kashi for breakfast, salads for lunch and light dinners. I finally broke down and bought an elliptical trainer because those who exercise are less prone to being overweight and having gallbladder/kidney stone problems. (And man oh man, am I ever out of shape!!!)

Slightly different.
besides, you don't even know what he said. He may have said...you're tests are okay. OP seems upset about the overcharging, which is very understandable. However, it's not the doctor's fault. Fraud over the advertisement, yes. Attempting to bring a doc down over telling you tests were okay because your ticked off at being overcharged, not okay. Mountain out of a molehill on that part. And yes, being told your pregnant is different. If you had a Pap and doctor told you in the waiting room...everything was okay, yes I'd be fine with it.
Slightly long
I took a "health occupations" class in high school. This was taught in a trailer on the grounds of a hospital a couple of blocks over from the high school. One day I was walking over there and saw a man who just hit me wrong walking down the street (moving wrong, now I think probably schizophrenic, but I've had more exposure) and took note of him. I about 5 minutes into class my teacher got a call from a friend in the main hospital saying they were running around looking for someone from the psych floor. Teacher mentioned it to us, and I told him I had seen the guy. The teacher didn't believe me so I described him, beard, tennis shoes, and all. He called back to the hospital, and sure enough, that was the guy. Only took a few minutes to find him when they were looking in the right place. It was cold then too. Glad they found him so soon.
Gallbladder surgery????????? nm
:)
Quick question for you, slightly off topic. sm
Is the correct way "an MT" or "a MT". Just curious as I am starting to get confused. I am a newbie. I am seeing it both ways and the BOS II has an example with it is as "an MT".

Thanks.
Gallbladder surgery last night? (sm)

You better get to job hunting.  You just got fired over on the company board!

With all due respect, I think you are spltting hairs and slightly nutz.
"spin" truth? hardly. i feel sorry for your family dealing with this nitpicking on a daily basis.
Because it's EZ MONEY. You've done one gallbladder surgery, SM
you've done em all (for the most part).
Can having a bad gallbladder make you unable to lose weight? ~sm~

I need to have my gallbladder out.  I had an ultrasound that showed that my gallbladder is completely filled with gallstones.  The symptoms started about a year ago and it took me a few months before I realized what was going on.  When I eat certain foods, I get sick and extremely bloated.  There is also constant pain that does not go away for hours.  I try to avoid all the foods that I am aware make me ill but it is getting really limited as to what I can eat.  I have been eating toast for breakfast and salads for both lunch and dinner.  The salads have no meat in them, are basically all vegetables and I use a vinagrette dressing.  I thought that I would lose some weight by being forced to eat this way but it is not happening.  Does anyone know if having a bad gallbladder causes you to retain water (especially with the bloating) and be unable to lose weight?  I am scheduled for surgery the second week of July.  I never thought I would be looking forward to having surgery but I am for this.

purpose of gallbladder is to squirt bile into digestive system
which helps emulsify fat. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with weight loss or not. I've never seen frequent notes that state, as a condition associated with gallbladder disease, that "patient is unable to lose weight." In fact, being fat is one of the 5 F's associated with gallbladder disease - Fat, Female, Fair, Forty and Fertile.
